Technological Educational Institute of Lamia

The Technological Educational Institute (ΤEI) of Lamia is one of the 14 Technological institutes in the country. These, together with the Universities (AEI), are the providers of higher education in Greece.

The Technological Educational Institute of Lamia was founded in 1994 by Presidential Decree 210/22-8-94. It is a fully self-governing institution under Law 1404/83.

The Technological Educational Institute of Lamia, based in the city of Lamia, has the advantage of being located in the centre of Greece and is therefore able to attract students and staff from across the country. Communication with major cities is easy and the exchange of information and technical expertise is particularly important to us.

The Technological Education Institute of Lamia is the only Institution of Higher Education in central Greece, and is expected to play a strategic role in the country’s development.
