The mansion was the house of a family which settled in the region in the middle of the 19th century and the house was rebuilt in the traditional way for the current owner, the grand daughter of Theoni. Theonis House is a 3 floored stone built house made originally in 1850, and overlooks the gorge of Ladonas. In the traditional mansion there are 6 rooms with wc, bath and central heating. In the basement there is a dining room for breakfast, which offers traditional tastes and homemade marmalades. Outside of the house there is a courtyard and a garden. Visitors can walk in the gorge of the Ladonas river and see extraordinary landscape of wild beauty through small roads paths and valleys and discover caves with stalactites, monasteries and old churches rooted into rocks. Theoni House is ideal for getting back to nature, enjoying comfortable rooms and hospitable people in this beautiful part of Greece.
