Horse Farm Melanouri – Horse Riding In Crete, Greece, is owned by a Germany – Greek family. Starting with five horses, their number has increased to ten. In addition there are goats, chicken, rabbits, cats and dogs on our farm. The horses belong to different races, mainly of the tough, small “Messara Horses”. Discover our part of southern Crete in a very special way, ride on old dirt roads off the civilization to Komos Beach, between old olive groves, through ravines and on the wild Asteroussia mountains. Moreover we offer beach rides, full moon rides, riding with kids and horse riding instructions for beginners.
