The park is set in a peaceful, green environment at the foot of the Dikti mountain chain in Crete and birdwatching is an important activity with many eagles and hawks. The park also organically produces its own cheese, honey, wine and dried herbs together with ceramics and all of these processes can be observed. For the more energetic guest there is 5-a-side football, basketball, volleyball, swimming, archery, horse riding, mountain cycling or hiking. The scenery of the Lasinthos Eco Park is stunning and will leave visitors wanting to come back time and again. It is one of the few places on Crete where all four seasons are quite distinct and so has something different to offer every time.
