A group of old olive press buildings, some dating from Venetian times, were lovingly restored and converted in the 1970΄ by Dennis Androutsopoulos, and are still run today as self-catering apartments by his wife Val. The thick stone walls, clay tile roofs, high cross-beamed ceilings and vaulting stone arches have been retained and highlighted. The surrounding meadows have been transformed into beautiful gardens which gradually blend in with the original olives, cypress, quince and Judas trees. It is above all a peaceful place.
