Aresti Villas traditional houses in Zakynthos Greece are situated within a large private estate of 40.000 sq.m. close to the small hamlet of Agios Dimitris. The area is delightfully unspoilt and undisturbed. The 8 villas each have a private pool bordered by a colourful garden with lemon and orange trees, roses, bougainvillea and jasmine. Private terraces look out over the surrounding landscape of silver olive trees. The villas were built in 1998 on the ruins of the old family mansion in a wonderful hillside. The owners have managed to recreate the charm and style of a past era. The villas are made predominantly from natural stone by local craftsmen while original pieces of the old mansion’s remains (stone work, headers) were reused in the buildings. The interiors, whilst paying homage to the traditional style of the island, are elegant, stylish and immensely comfortable. Guests are welcome to explore the farm, meet the animals and enjoy wonderful walks around the fields in Zakynthos.
