Ida Mount or Psiloritis Mount


Mount Ida or Mount Psiloritis (2,456 m. elevation)

Ida Mount massif lies at the centre of Crete, Greece.

Its summit, known as Ida or Timios Stavros, is the highest peak on Crete, rising 2,456 metres above sea level.

You can reach the peak of Ida Mount from the village of Kamares in six or seven hours’ walk, although there is also a fairly easy path from the Nida Plateau.
