climbing in Kalymnos

Kalymnos, the sponge divers' Greek island, offers fantastic sport climbing in a cool and peaceful scenery.  Its picturesque landscapes, its clear blue seas, and the hospitality of the locals are things that you will never forget.

In Kalymnos new routes can be put up either from the bottom up or from the top down, by abseil. In addition to the lines suitable for single pitch routes there is ample scope for lots of multipitch routes of up to 5 pitches.
