Carnival in Patra

The Patras Carnival is one of the most important events, not only in the city's own area, but in the country of Greece as a whole.

The opening ceremony is the starting-point of the events and at the same time an invitation to the people of Patras to take an active part in it.

Patras' Carnival ends, as the Carnival King is set on fire, during a mystic ritual, while, at the same time, dozens of dazzling fireworks and flares will illuminate the sky and signal the coming of Spring.

On the end of the Carnival will be nothing less than a new beginning, as it will renew our rendez-vous for the next one!
