Department of Urology of the Medical School

The Department of Urology of the Medical School of the University of Crete was established in the University General Hospital of Heraklio in 1991 by Prof. Aggelos Kranidis

The development of the clinic was extremely rapid thanks to the efforts of the Department staff.

It became a very active unit, both scientifically and in providing high quality public health care through the highly trained medical and paramedical staff.

Today, it continues its active academic role in Urology with the help of highly trained staff specialized in all major fields of Urology.
