Filira traditional houses in Pelion Greece

Filira traditional houses in Pelion Greece at Xorihti, a small picturesque village on the north eastern side of Pelion and across the traditional village of Tsagarada, at a height of 550 metres is our hostel Filira. Our hostel dates back to 1890. The owners have managed to maintain the well known architectural structure of Pelion, with basic characteristics such as stone, wood, small windows and the traditional tools of the region. In its five bedrooms keeping the country style with traditional wooden furniture, metallic beds and beautiful fireplaces, the atmosphere is absolutely cosy and relaxing. In the hostel’s sitting room our guests can enjoy a rich delicious breakfast and taste the local tsipouro. The rooms are surrounded by a green garden with flowers, apple trees and cherry trees. Adding to this absolutely great environment there is the swimming pool, which everyone can enjoy in front of the unforgettable view of the crystal blue Aegean sea.
